About Us
Fueling a Healthier D.C.
Fuel and Fit DC is the innovative new organization born from the collaborative vision of two dedicated Washington D.C. natives: Joe Houston Jr, Founder of WeFitDC, and David Street, Founder of StreetWork Communications. Driven by a shared commitment to community well-being, Fuel and Fit DC aims to address critical issues of health equity and food access in the nation's capital.

Together, Joe and David, both proud natives of Washington D.C., are leveraging their combined expertise and passion to create Fuel and Fit DC – an organization poised to make a significant and lasting impact on the health and vitality of their community, not just through programs, but by illuminating the realities and resilience of Black and Brown businesses and communities facing systemic challenges.
